First of all, you are loved. I’m sorry you haven’t heard it enough. I’m sorry you don’t believe it sometimes. I’m sorry the world tricked you into thinking you are alone, and that you are not worth as much as you do.
Let me tell you something two things about me. One, I am very passionate about everything. Two, I am super excited with this “with Mary in Christ” project. I have so many ideas that run through my head. So when I told one of my friends about it, and he responded with telling me I should have just made a Facebook page I nearly cried. I promise. However, I’ll tell you why I am not just making a Facebook page.
I need you to know you are loved. Yes, you, whoever is reading this. So, I’ll just stage how this conversation between us could go.
You: but you don’t even know me.
Me: True, but I want to. Really! Reach out, tell me about yourself and I promise you I will answer because I care. There is so much beauty in this world hidden between so much pain. God, so wonderful and beautiful created you. God doesn’t make mistakes. You are not a mistake. You are not broken. You are beautiful. You are loved.
You: That is so cheesy.
Me: Cheese is good, but what I say is also true.
You: You can’t love someone you don’t know.
Me: You know the whole thing in math that goes like a=b and b=c so a=c? God loves you. Mary loves you. Jesus loves you. The Holy Spirit loves you. I love them. I love you. It’s easy. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve felt broken. I’ve felt alone. However, one thing I am absolutely positively sure about is that you are loved.
So look, I know there are a lot of pages like this. I know it would have been easier to just make this small. I know it would have been more convenient to not make a whole website out of the desire of telling people Jesus loves them so much that He gave us Mary to walk with when we feel alone. If someday I get to heaven and Our Lady tells me I only reached one person, I will have fulfilled everything I could have asked for. To me, letting you know that you are loved and making sure you know it is true is one of the most important things.
