Introducing Cinderelle Hood
I cannot take 100% credit for the idea of what you will read in this section of this website. This idea was dreamed up by my classmates and me in the eighth grade. We were trying to write the play for the next year, but it was late in the school year. When we came back the next year, the teachers decided to go a different way. I had already started writing a little bit about the characters that I would introduce to my classmates. So, coming back that year and hearing that the play had been scrapped, made me mad. Then I looked around and saw no one was picking up the idea of a twisted fairy tale of Cinderella and Robin Hood. I did the most logical thing to my ninth grade mind I took the idea and ran with it. To make it clear, I just took the basic idea of the twisted fairytale and nothing else.
What you will see here is completely original story that I have been working on for ever since then. I remember hearing about the serials in the 1800s and how different authors would slowly release their stories to the world. I always thought telling stories in that way sounded so cool. Now, I have a chance to live out this dream.
Before we embark on this journey, you will need to know a few things. Cinderelle Hood is a story where the Cinderella character, Cinderelle (or as everyone calls her Cindy) is the daughter of Robin Hood. I clearly took some creative license here. It also has a lot of Christian imagery in it. Let’s face it, I don’t think I could write something without that coming out, as y’all know! I also did take creative license on other things that are blatantly not true in the Robin Hood story. What are they? You are just going to have to read to find that out.
Also I’m big Harry Potter fan soooo there will be magic!!!
